1990 The SPRING BREAK CAMPAIGN was born. In 1989 the City of Fort Lauderdale "Kicked The Spring Breakers Out of Town" and I initiated a marketing and promotional program to bring the college and university students back to Fort Lauderdale for Spring Break. In 2002, the Spring Break campaign brought over 80,000 students back to Fort Lauderdale representing over 250 million dollars into the local economy in a 10 week period.
